 
															Fernando Dubove
Mr. Dubove received his B.A. and J. D. from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Dubove served on the 70th Texas legislature as counsel to the House Judiciary Committee.
In 1987, he served as Assistant Director in Texas for a Washington, D.C. based immigrant and refugee rights organization, where he co-authored the Ford Foundation funded study: “The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986- A Year Later: Issues and Needs.” He later served as the staff trial attorney for the Diocesan Migrant and Refugee Services in El Paso.
Mr. Dubove wrote “Immigration Implications for Criminal Convictions” and “Dealing with ICE Holds,” both published in the Voice for the Defense. He also co-authored “The North American Free Trade Agreement: Immigration and Labor Considerations;” published in the Texas Bar Journal. The Dallas Observer named him the best immigration attorney in Dallas.
Mr. Dubove is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He has lectured on immigration law before the State Bar Poverty Law Conference, Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center’s National Immigration Training Project, Catholic Charities Immigration Counseling Services, and at the University of Mexico at Monterrey and the University of North Texas on NAFTA and Immigration law.
Mr. Dubove was born in Argentina. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
